Make Plans to visit us

Worship Service

Join us on Sundays for worship at 10:55 a.m. Our service provides a friendly atmosphere with traditional music and Biblical teaching. We offer a nursery and children’s church during the service.

Sunday School

Sunday school provides an opportune way for getting connected at Covington Baptist Church.  Our classes provide community, fellowship and opportunities to grow in your relationship with Christ. Groups are available for all ages and classes begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

Prayer Gatherings

A main part of our vision for Covington Baptist Church is to become of church of passionate prayer. As part of that vision, we offer prayer gatherings weekly. On Tuesday mornings, men from throughout the Alleghany Highlands gather 6 a.m. for a time of fellowship and prayer. "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17.)

Help Us Get To Know You

When you visit, be sure to complete a visitor’s card. They can be found in the backs of pews in the sanctuary. We want the opportunity to meet you and help you find a place to serve and be served at Covington Baptist Church.

What To Wear

Covington Baptist Church welcomes you just as you are. Typical dress for Sunday morning services range from casual or business casual to a suit and tie or dress. All of our events are relaxed and casual.
